The Learning Curve of Gratitude

I choose not to say “have a nice day” because I don’t want to sound like a robot. I try not to get mad when someone cuts in front of me when I am driving. I don’t want to be jealous of someone else’s good health or their success. But I do want to be on the learning curve of gratitude, because, it can show me how to be human when I need it most. I know clearly that many people I encounter in my Green Tea Dreams remind me in every way that every day is all there is. And this is what I believe. When I go home today, I’ll have dinner with my beautiful wife. I will tell her just how much I love her. Then’ we’ll curl up on the couch and watch the sun go down and go to bed.

I want to think about how uncomplicated Green Tea Dreams are. I’ll think about how uncomplicated it all is if we listen. In my Green Tea Dream, I will wonder at how it has taken me so long to figure this out. I know I will learn to appreciate just one day. This is the learning curve of gratitude.
